Godly Play Year Ends
June 11, 2021 – Thank you for supporting the children as they crossed the threshold and joined the Godly Play circle this year! The children have witnessed God coming close to God’s people in the telling of the Bible’s Sacred stories. They have wondered how to live the questions posed by the Parables of Jesus. They experienced how the Church marks time by learning and remembering what to revere and celebrate in each season with Liturgical Action lessons. They have grown deeper in their love for God and each other!
Some highlights we’ve had this year:
- Storyteller Josh writing his own story and sharing it with us.
- Having Godly Play outside at Camp Garner Creek for Kaleo’s fall retreat
- Several kids collaborating to create a replica of the Holy Family out of clay
- Doorkeeper Noah bringing his guitar and teaching us songs
